After our coaching sesh earlier on this week, I have been feeling more and more confident with my poker plating abilities. ie having a really great 1st day up lots, 2nd day played well but went down to a couple of unlucky hands- leaving me quietly sure of my table tactics running into today. Up bright and early, made Rosies packed lunch, seen her off to work and sat down at the computer to grind a good couple of hundred hands , playing 4 tables as instructed.
Decided to play really tight, as instructed by my great teacher, and at first it looked as though I was just on a downward slope but then , my perseverance paid off-- I got the money hands in -BINGO - I was $23 to the good and loads of hands under my belt for a really promising start for the "BEST POKER DAY I WAS GOING TO HAVE AS OF YET"

That’s the date by the way- Not my winnings on FT for the day (I wish).
Ok all.
Was working today in the Bentley Motor Factory in Crewe. Man, What a place - millions of pounds worth of cars just parked up outside and millions hanging from frames on the line above our heads as we were working. It’s a big no to take any photees in there - big ideas and they like to keep them secret-but Bob is going to sneak his camera in there next weekend and snap away at the production line and the vast stock pile of "Dream Mobiles" I might even post them on me blog.

Had a losing sesh of $13.47 cos I played like a shithouse. Then, after swearing that I would never play poker again, coaxed myself round to another sesh and was up a couple of dollars

The villain in this hand had a knack of shoving with top or middle pair when a flush draw presented itself. I had got onto this and threw caution to the wind and made the call. And for once I was right. I think this is a point I must use a lot more in my play "WATCHING PEOPLE PLAY WHEN I AM NOT IN THE HAND" instead of hammering Youporn between hands.

Tickets Clipped
AY UP.
The long awaited Steve Miller Band gig was tonight-Just got back from Manchester after a fucking brilliant concert. Spun me back down the years with loads of classics- went and stood at the back of the Appollo when Fly Like An Eagle came on......Man brought a tear to my eye what a performance by one of Americas greatest acts.
Anyway, music apart started back on my poker quest yesterday after going in with the "Master" while I was over in Hull on Wednesday for a gruelling 10 hours or so learning poker skills from my teacher. Sometimes I really find it hard to grasp some of the basic concepts that he tries to put on my plate--as I did this time, but when I got back to liverpool, cranked the old Full Tilt on I whacked the opposition to within an inch of their lives with a $54 winning day--so somethings are sticking in my grey matter. Keep it up Dan. It is Apreciated.
Will be back posting hands tomorrow,so anyone who has any helpful comments to make-- get on board.

HOLIDAYS
Holidays-- Ifucking wish.
Haven't played any poker for 2 weeks now cos of my stupid fuckin' job. One minute here, one minute there, here, there , every fuckin' where. I'm down on the Carlsberg brewery (Probably the worlds worst job) in Northampton and cannot get any coverage of WIFI in the hotel we are staying in. Came home this weekend and took the Kids of the familly to Welsh Wales and had a really good time.But I have to go back down south at 4am in the morning so I am off now - only to say I have purposley chose not to do anything next weekend so I can get back into my poker cos that is what I have been itching to do for the last 3 weeks.

Tommy Docs Birthday What a Night
All
Aint played no poker since I got coolered the other night and lost $12 So we went out to the "All The World" buffet in Liverpool One for Our dinner and then onto Leos casino to play some. Played some 50p-£1 cash game. Played ok at first up about 70 quid but then realised that the players I was playing against were all shite so I started to loosen up and lot 100 quid. Felt sorry for Karl Doc who was with me He shoved with a full house and got ad off by four Jacks - but he was cool with it and enjoyed his old mans birthday night out.
Well My Rosie after learning her trade on the fruit machines of Vegas not 3 weeks ago- only went and won us a holiday to Gibraltar while playing on the bandits.
Woopee we were just fuckin' buzzin' Some mad promotion in the casino for Gala/Coral bingo and casino. They put £50 into a machine and whoever made the most money off the back of that 50 won the holiday- How about that then.
Still workin in Bently in Crewe. 7 Days left on the shut down so I will be resuming some heavy play in 1 weeks time. C U later all.
