Big Man Is Back

Who won $500 in a tourney (1st Place) at the MGM while he was in Vegas, taking his poker coach and soon to be son in law (The Bully) out on the final table? Yes you guessed right. BIG BOB. Fantastic I was just Buzzin.
What a place that Vegas is. Went to the Rio to see the WSOP main event. That place is fuckin massive. I'd heard people say it was enormous but it’s just ridiculous how large it actually is.
Also won two online tourneys when we were sat by the pool ($250) and was well pleased with my overall performance.
Another thing I was very pleased with was the fact that I never once paid for a drink in the casinos- just the old dollar tip to the server when she came back with my drink-had it down to fine art in the end-- sat by a fruit machine, call her over, get the drink, tip and bugger off without spending any money in the bandit. Fantastic.

One more thing about the trip. Virgin Atlantic is by far the best airline to fly with. They are absolutely brilliant--those Boeing 747-400s are the best planes I have ever been on.
Took a full week to get over the jet lag-- well got pissed on Thursday night at the quiz, and also on Friday night-- I went to a little welcome home party for my cousin Ste. He went to Australia in the 70s to play football (soccer) and made a good life for himself over there. Hadn't seen him for 26 years and it was nice catching up with him and some of his old mates that I haven't seen for a while either.

Back to poker.


Hardly played any cash games since I got back because I thought on the back of my Vegas tourney wins that I was the World Champ at Poker so I've been playing some tourneys on FT no big wins so I am getting on with my cash games again.
The Bully said that if get my bank roll up to $800 I can step up to the next level. So as from Monday night I will be right back at it and posting on the blog after every session.
